My Big Brother

I have a picture etched in my mind and soul of the man I am trying to become, so that I can build a foundation and lay down a path for others to follow especially my daughter and son.

Being humble is an important part of that vision, respecting my past, grateful for the present, understanding the future so I can make better choices and decisions.

You see I don’t want to be the man that talks about and shows everyone only what he wants them to see, I want to be a humble man, be at peace and full of strength internally.

The external image has nothing to do with the measurement of a human being, I believe the true value is on the inside and what can’t be seen.

Things look way different then at times they appear to be, so that’s why my focus is being humble, being at peace and be the best version of me.

The goal is to be humble in the high moments because I believe that is a wise decision to make, and I try and be hopeful in the low moments and do my best to remain in faith.

Humility is a priceless thing and worth its weight in gold, because the end result is I will be a better person and have realigned and strengthen my immortal soul.
